ESPN makes me want to fucking kill somebody.

They had Mel Kiper and Todd McShay talk about who they thought were the top college QB’s heading into the 2009 draft.
Well, Todd Shay’s list looked like this:

(in no order)

Sam Bradford
Tim Tebow
Pat White
Chase Daniel
and somebody else

Mel Kiper immediately made fun of Todd McShay for not following the premise of the segment. McShay listed 5 quarterbacks, not the top 5 kids who are going to get drafted as quarterbacks.

Let’s take a look.

1. Sam Bradford is a fucking sophomore. He is not leaving Oklahoma after this season.
2. Tim Tebow, although a very good college QB, will be lucky if an NFL team even lets him look at their fucking playbook.
3. Pat White will be a WR in the NFL and will drafted as one, just like Arnez Battle, Michael Robinson, Eric Crouch, and former WVU QB Rasheed Marshall. How fucking stupid can you get.
4. Chase Daniel is not tall enough to be an NFL QB and on top of that he’s immature as a person. He’s the most overrated QB in college football. And he’s from Southlake and those people are fucks.

Todd McShay then went on to say that Graham Harrell is the most overrated QB in the nation. Who the fuck is considering Harrell for award nominations? Has anyone seen a list of Heisman candidates with Harrell on it? No! Who has overrated him? The only reason you see Harrell on TV is ppl are talking about how Texas Tech will better than usual this season. No one thinks Harrell is going to do a damn thing in the NFL or even get drafted. He should not be considered for anything more than.

This is one more chapter in my insane and growing hatred of ESPN and their very half-assed coverage of sports.
