In the wake of the tragedy that was the death of Cimba, SNYtone records has decided to profit from his death and exploit it the best they can. In a recent press announcement Dolan, the band’s manager and head of SNYtone Records announced that a collection of 35 songs spanning Cimba’s career as a solo country and western artist would be released.
“Cowboy of the Heart” will be a three disc set, the first two discs consisting of Cimba’s original recordings from albums such as“Coming Out To The Country”, “A-bucking Bronco”, “Ride Hard All Night” and ”Paint the Bucket” and the third disc, a special tribute album featuring artists that were in some way inspired by Cimba. Artists involved include Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Tommy Shaw, Avril Lavigne, Kid Rock and Kanye West.
Kanye, Lavigne, Kid Rock and Shaw are all in talks to fourm a super group to tour with SNYDER on the STILL HARD tour and play Cimba’s songs.
