Latest word on Jelani Jenkins, believe it or not, is that he is headed to Penn State. Nothing can be confirmed, but sources at USC have leaked news somehow. I don’t know how much stock to put into any of that, but I’m just telling you what I saw.

In regards to CB Jim Noel that is committed to BC… good possibility that he is visiting this weekend. BC has also lost THREE coaches in addition to HC Jeff Jagodzinski now. All 3 have resigned.

Penn State continues to look great for 2010. A kid in CT that everyone loves is a RB named Silas Redd. Redd is a huge PSU fan, and PSU was targeting him as a CB. Well, now they are targeting him as a RB, and he has said that PSU is “definitely” his leader. There is a junior day at PSU in February and it could be a very big weekend for us for next year’s recruiting class.

LB/DE Dakota Royer of Manheim Central looks to be the next kid who may commit to PSU for 2010. Royer is a bigtime stud.

What i think is happening is that the kids that are seniors this year and next year have seen PSU when PSU was good. Even with Morelli at the helm, they still won 10 and 9 games. I think we are learning how to recruit in today’s game, and i think things are on the right track. Gotta keep winning 10-11-12 games, though.
